1. TERMS OF SERVICE. These Terms of Service (hereafter called "TOS" and "Agreement") represent an agreement between you and the webmaster/owner of Marissa's Paid Mail . By verifying your email address and completing your sign-up, you are affirming that you have read and will abide by the TOS.
2. CHANGES TO THE TOS. The webmaster/owner of Marissa's Paid Mail reserves the right to modify the TOS as necessary to ensure the longevity of the program and to ensure that all members are treated as fairly as possible. When there are changes to the TOS, the webmaster/owner will send an email to the entire membership notifying you of the scope and content of the changes. If you disagree with the changes to the TOS, you have no other recourse except to terminate your account and forfeit all unpaid earnings, bonuses, and commissions.
Please read the following.
1. MEMBERS RESPONSIBIITIES. Members who choose Paypal as their payment processor must abide by their Terms, which may be read here:

Members agree marissaspaidmail.com will not accept any of the following types of advertising from members or advertisers:
1. cigarette sites
2. pharmacy sites
3. gambling/casino sites
4. adult sites
Ads placed for sites whose webmasters account was terminated by Paypal for breaking their AUP will need to be replaced by a different ad.
If a member has changed the page for the url sent in and these are found to happen after an ad has been setup this will be cause for immediate termination of your account.
3. MEMBERS MUST UNDERSTAND ENGLISH. Marissa's Paid Mail is intended to be an online marketing site. Advertisers will pay the webmaster/owner for the service of displaying their banner ads and/or text link ads on the site and/or for sending a compensated email to opt-in subscribers. In turn, Marissa's Paid Mail will pay the members for clicking those banners, text, or email ads and viewing the advertiser's website for a specific amount of time. Since the vast majority of ads will be by/for English-speaking people, it is expected that members of this site can read and understand the English language. To ensure the best possible value for our advertisers, the webmaster/owner will occasionally send emails to the entire membership to verify that all members understand English and can follow a simple set of directions in English.
4. MEMBERS MUST BE 18 OR OLDER. All members must be 18 years of age or older. By clicking any banner, text ad, or link on this site or in an email originating from this site, you are confirming that you are at least 18 years old. If you are not at least 18, please terminate your membership immediately.
5. ACCOUNTS AND CHEATERS. Each member of Marissa's Paid Mail is allowed to have ONE account or membership per person/household/IP. The webmaster/owner will examine the membership database frequently to determine if a single user has multiple accounts. If multiple accounts are detected, the webmaster/owner will delete both accounts, NO QUESTIONS ASKED. Cheating in any way will NOT be tolerated to any degree. If a member is found to be cheating, this includes any kind of cheat software, that member's account will be terminated and all unpaid earnings, bonuses, commissions, and ads will be forfeited. There will be NO questions asked and NO restoration of a cheating member's account. As a matter of course, paid emails may contain a specially marked "do not click" link, as well as a cheat banner placed in the ptc section, which is designed to weed out members using automated clicking software. Such software dilutes the value of this program for advertisers and members alike and the use will not be tolerated in this program. (I strongly recommend you attempt to get a refund if you bought any such software.) Any instances of fraud, system abuse, or any type of activity deemed to be inappropriate or illegal by marissaspaidmail.com be detected it may result in member termination and possible legal action."

We are very Strict on this issue:
6. Rules are to be followed on MPM by each member. Rules are periodically sent out through updates in emails to all members. If a member does not read this update and turns around and breaks one of these rules then that member is not doing what he/she is paid to do. Read! A member who breaks the rules of MPM is cause for Immediate suspension/termination.
1. Do not abuse any sections of MPM (This includes paid emails). These sections are here to help you earn a little extra and can be taken away, so don't ruin it for those who actually appreciate them.
2. Keywords: Only check the keywords that you actually want to receive email on. Keywords are double-optin and not to be abused. All Emails are targeted, so again do not check keywords you are not interested in.
3. The PTP Feature is there for you to earn a little extra faster. Please do not abuse this. The PTP url is not to be placed within another PTP surfer such as wolfemails.net/pages/ptp, madcashmails.com/pages/ptp etc.. The PTP url is only allowed on Approved sites. Please check the approved list to ensure you may promote it at that site.
4. If you are inactive for seven days you stop receiving earnings from your downline.
5. If you are inactive for 14 days your account is suspended and you must contact me to be reactivated.
6. If you are inactive for 30 days your account is deleted NO Ands Ifs or Buts about it. If you know you will be absent for any length of time please place yourself on vacation. Anything longer than 30 days you must have it approved by the webmaster.
7. Upgraded members are suspended after 30 days of inactivity and deleted after 45 days of inactivity. You are given 1 1/2 times amount to save your upgrade.
I am very strict where activity is concerned, hence the small member count. We only want active members at MPM.
Activity rules are strictly enforced. If your account is cancelled due to inactivity or for other means you have the option of rejoining or moving on, but you will have to start again from scratch.

Cheat links are sent in emails.

Clicking on a cheat link 3 times your account will be deleted.
Clicking on an invisible cheat banner in the PTC section or in an email one time your account will be deleted. Once your account is deleted for this there will be no reinstatements and all earnings, referrals , points, advertising, etc. are forfeited.
Please be sure to include in any promotions you do for MPM that the following Countries may only redeem for advertising. No cash payouts.:
India, Indonesia, Poland and Vietnam. China members are not allowed to join.
The webmaster/owner will track email bounces. It is recommended you check your email account frequently or you will begin to bounce emails back to the sender. This is not only a problem for this program, but for many others as well. Because bouncebacks consume a considerable amount of system resources, the hosting service frequently passes extra costs on to the webmaster. In an effort to avoid this situation, your account will be deleted if records indicate 3 bouncebacks in a 30 day period. At that point, you will forfeit all unpaid earnings and commissions. To be fair, this rule applies to Upgraded Members as well.
6. EARNINGS. Members of Marissa's Paid Mail can earn money and points (redeemable for free advertising and cash) in the following ways:
- Clicking banner and/or text ads in the Paid to Click section - When you click a banner and/or text ad, a timer will appear in a frame above the advertised site. When you let the timer count down completely, your account will be credited as listed in the timer frame.
- Clicking specific links in paid emails - When you receive a paid email, there will usually be at least one clickable link that will take you to an advertiser website and open a timer frame above that site. When you let the timer count down completely, your account will be credited as listed in the timer frame.
- Building a downline - You can get your referral link, along with a graphic banner, to promote the program to others. As you build a downline, you will earn commissions on your direct Referrals - L1 = 15%, Referrals - L2 = 5%, Referrals - L3 = 3%,
You must remain an "active" member to continue receiving compensation for visiting advertiser sites and building a downline. For the purposes of a fair definition, an "active" member is one who logs in to his/her account and clicks at least one link every 30 days. Inactive members will be purged from the account database every 30 days and will forfeit any unpaid earnings, bonuses, commissions, ads or other compensation.
The webmaster will check member activity DAILY. If a member has not logged in at least once in 30 days, the member's account will be deleted. (Exceptions will be made for users who have set the vacation mode on their account.)
7. PAYMENTS. FREE Members: Once your account balance reaches $.03, you will be placed on the next payout queue. The webmaster/owner will then have 1 to 30 days from the date of your request to pay you by Paypal. MoneyBookers & e-Gold are only used when funds are available.
Only active members will be paid.
Loging into your account, but not clicking is not being active. To remain active you must have clicked a PTC banner or a paid mail in the last 7 days to remain active.
Please understand that you must also be at least 25% as active as your most active downline member to qualify for referral earnings.
Payments are made through Paypal.
Paypal Mass Payouts - .02 cent fee per member for $.03 Payout
Fees charged for Paypal are listed below. Fees will be deducted from your account before payout is sent.

8. SPAMMING THE WEBMASTER. It is understood that you will occasionally have a question to ask of the webmaster/owner. If that is the case, please use the form in the Contact section. Your question will usually be answered within 24 hours, unless circumstances beyond the control of the webmaster/owner prevent a timely response. Do NOT send the webmaster/owner your referral links to other programs. The first time this happens, you will be reminded of this policy. The second time this happens, you will be warned by email of the pending termination of your account. The third time this happens, your account will be terminated without further notice and all unpaid earnings, bonuses, and commissions will be forfeited.
9. SPAMMING OTHERS. You may not promote your referral links for this (or any other) program through unsolicited commercial emailing (i.e. SPAMMING), newsgroup postings, or any other method of mass communication in which people have not specifically opted-in to see advertising. Failure to comply will result is immediate termination of your membership with Marissa's Paid Mail and may result in legal prosecution in the proper jurisdiction. Marissa's Paid Mail fully supports and will help to strictly enforce anti-spamming laws in the United States and elsewhere. Any member caught spamming will not only have their account terminated immediately and lose unpaid earnings, bonuses, and commissions, but shall also be held liable as we shall cooperate with any authorities and investigations that may arise from the spamming incident. Additionally, Marissa's Paid Mail will seek civil damages to offset any and all expenses incurred as a result of the spamming incident.
10. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY. Marissa's Paid Mail will not be liable for lost profits, lost business opportunities, or any other indirect, special, punitive, incidental or consequential damages arising out of or related to this Agreement or Marissa's Paid Mail program, even if Marissa's Paid Mail has been advised of the possibility of such damages. Furthermore, the aggregate liability of Marissa's Paid Mail arising under this Agreement will not exceed the amount of the total fees paid or payable to you under this Agreement. The provisions of this Section survive termination or expiration of the Agreement.
11. RELATIONSHIP OF BOTH PARTIES TO THIS AGREEMENT. You and Marissa's Paid Mail are independent contractors, and nothing in this Agreement creates any partnership, joint venture, agency, franchise, sales representative or employment relationship between you and Marissa's Paid Mail. You understand that you do not have authority to make or accept any offers or make any representations on behalf of Marissa's Paid Mail. You may not make any statement, whether on your site or otherwise, that would contradict anything in this section.
12. TAXES. You are solely responsible for the reporting and payment of any taxes for money earned while participating in this program. If you earn more than $600 during a calendar year, you will be contacted for information that will be included on an IRS form 1099-Misc. Failure to provide that information to Marissa's Paid Mail does NOT indemnify you from your tax obligations and the webmaster/owner will contact the IRS to pursue further actions, if necessary. It is also understood that many members are international residents; however, that does not necessarily relieve them of tax liabilities to the United States Internal Revenue Service. You should always seek competent tax and legal advice regardless of your citizenship or residence status inside or outside of the United States.
13. ABUSIVE MEMBERS. You are expected to give the webmaster/owner and ALL advertisers and other members of this program the respect they are due as human beings. It should be understood, but is frequently overlooked, that there are people on the other end of every email you send or posting you make in a forum. If you send an abusive or rude email to the webmaster/owner that includes ANY profanity or vulgarity, your account will be deleted immediately, no questions asked, and you will forfeit all unpaid earnings. If the webmaster/owner receives two complaints about you from either advertisers or other members, your account will be deleted immediately, no questions asked, and you will forfeit all unpaid earnings. Additionally, the webmaster/owner will send a paid ad to the entire membership, which usually includes a number of webmasters for other programs, and provide your username, IP address, email address, and brief description of the abusive behavior. Abusive behavior will NOT be tolerated.
